Configuring Windows Server 2008 R2 Core

In order to configure a fresh install of Windows 2008 R2 Core version we can use the built-in tool called sconfig

1. In the command line just write sconfig

With this tool you can do several tasks:

• Join domain
• Rename Server
• Configure Remote Settings
• Configure Windows Update 
• Enabling Remote Desktop
